Pat Weaver Simply Spontaneous and Direct A Watercolor Workshop
Pat Weaver Watercolor Workshop November 1-5,2010 9:30 – 4:00p.m. $375 Pat Weaver is an international watercolor instructor, traveling and teaching workshops throughout the United States, Italy, France and Mexico. She is a Signature Member, Life Member and past President of the Florida Watercolor Society. She is also a Signature Member of the Georgia Watercolor Society, and an Associate member of the Society of Animal Artists, New York, NY. Pat has authored a book and a video, titled "Watercolor Simplified", published by North Light Books. She also created a DVD, "Animals in Watercolor”, produced by Creative Catalyst. Pat's work is featured in " The Watercolorists Answer Book," the Splash Series of books, along with other books published by North Light Books. Pat Weaver has had her art work featured in the Watercolor Magazine, Artist Magazine and Watercolor Magic Magazine.

She has a very direct approach to watercolor painting. The workshop will focus on the following: - Developing a good drawing
- Effective design and composition
- Strong value patterns
- Painting with a limited palette
- Learning a technique for using watercolor pencils and white titanium casein, by Shiva.
The workshop includes demonstrations, discussions, individual help and critiques, in addition to lots of painting time. Using the principles that Pat teaches, students are encouraged to develop their own style of painting.
