Jo Moncrief is a local Dallas artist that exhibits her artwork in national and local juried art shows.

Learn how to create unlimited colors that are exciting using only a limited palette of artist paints. There is magic in making & mixing your own basic color palette using the tube paints you more than likely already own. Jo will demonstrate how she uses her personal palette to create an endless range of analgous, complimentary & gray colors. Discord colors and the power of glazing will be demonstrated also.

Jo will discuss the advantages of using the Munsell & traditional color wheel. We will demonstrate the importance of grayscale and how to convert grayscale into a color painting. The difference between value & intensity will be stressed also.

Learn how to be more creative by painting multiple paintings at one time. Jo will also demonstrate how texturing your artwork creates excitement in your painting.
