Cynthia Stone, an Associate at Artists' Showplace Gallery Color has always been exciting for Cynthia. That interest has been influenced by the vivid colors and textures, she has experienced in her travels to Thailand, Guatemala, Mexico, and the southwest United States.
Being an abstract – expressionist/layerist her primary media is acrylic and charcoal. Each of her paintings is an adventure into value, shape, texture and layers of color. The mystery of layering brings exciting surprises.
She has had the desire to create art since she was a child. Those days are still dear memories for her. She feels it is a blessing to give all her time to her art.
Cynthia has studied with various professional artists throughout the years and appreciates the learning experiences. Each person she meets opens up learning and emotional experiences that lead her on a creative journey.
